Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    2 c. potatoes, chopped
    2 cans minced clams
    3/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. flour
    1 qt. half and half
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain juice from clams and pour over vegetables.
    In small pan, add enough water to cover vegetables.
    Simmer until tender.
