Holiday Cut Outs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs and flour which has been sifted twice with salt and baking powder.
    Add extract. Divide dough into 3 balls and wrap in foil.
    Place in refrigerator and chill.
    Roll cookies thin and cut into shapes.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 7 dozen cookies.
