Apple Bread Puddings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices white bread
1 1/2 c. reconstituted nonfat dry milk
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
sweetener equal to 1/3 c. sugar
1 medium apple, peeled, cored and diced
1/3 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation

Toast bread.
Break into cubes and turn into 8 1/4 x 1 3/4-inch ovenware dish.
Add hot milk.
Let stand 15 minutes. Beat together eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and sweetener until light.
Add apples and raisins into bread mixture. Place into shallow baking pan.
Fill with water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until knife inserted in center comes clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
Serves 8.
