Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crab meat (fresh or canned)
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. cracker meal
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    Worcestershire sauce to taste
    3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    salt and pepper to taste (I do not use any salt)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients; mix well.
    Shape into cakes.
    Fry in shortening (or oil) until done, browning on both sides.
    Drain on paper towels.
