Ham Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    2 c. cut up, fully cooked ham
    2 c. sliced carrots
    2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. Bisquick
    8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut into cubes (2 c.)
Preparation
    Heat water, broccoli, ham, carrots, celery, onion and salt to boiling in 4-quart Dutch oven.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Gradually stir milk into baking mix in small bowl (mixture will be lumpy).
    Stir into ham mixture.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; stir in cheese.
    Cover and let stand until cheese is partially melted (5 minutes).
    Stir before serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
