Sweet-Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. spareribs
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or oil
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 Tbsp. powdered garlic
    1/4 Tbsp. ground cloves
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. ginger
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place spareribs in shallow pan.
    Cook in slow oven, uncovered, for 1 hour.
    Drain off fat.
    Mix all other ingredients and cook until mixture thickens.
    Cut ribs in small pieces.
    Pour sauce over them and cook, covered, at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
