Peach-Marshmallow Refrigerator Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin, soaked in 1/4 c. cold water
    1/3 c. softened butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 lb. marshmallows, cut in pieces
    4 c. sliced fresh peaches
    2 c. vanilla wafers (crumbs)
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in water.
    Soften butter in top of double boiler. Add sugar, quartered marshmallows and egg yolks.
    Take off stove; add gelatin.
    Cool.
    Add whipped cream and egg whites (beaten stiff).
    Pour over peaches.
    Line pan with vanilla wafer crumbs, saving a little for top of filling.
    Let stand in refrigerator.
