Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans peeled whole tomatoes
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 or 3 slices bread, crumbled
    3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Put the tomatoes and onion in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add margarine, sugar, salt and oregano.
    Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes.
    Add bread and stir.
    Pour into a 1 1/2-quart lightly greased casserole dish.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
