Turtle Stew 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. turtle meat, cut up
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 can tomato soup
Preparation
    Boil the turtle meat for 20 minutes.
    Melt butter in a pot and cook the sliced garlic until browned.
    Coat the cooked turtle meat with flour and add it to the pot along with the onion.
    Cook the meat until browned.
    Pour in the stock in which the turtle was boiled.
    Simmer for several hours or until the meat is tender. Add potatoes, stir in the soup and cook an additional 30 minutes.
