Orange Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 c. butter, melted
4 eggs
1 c. chopped dates
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
2 Tbsp. orange rind, grated

Preparation

Mix together, sugar, flour, salt and soda.
Add melted butter, buttermilk and eggs.
Mix well and stir in pecans, dates and orange rind.
Pour into tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
