Chocolate And Cherry Ring Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. chopped walnuts
powdered sugar
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt.
In another bowl, combine eggs, oil and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate pieces and nuts.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
Remove from pan; sift powdered sugar on top of cake.
Makes 12 to 14 servings.
