Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream
2 c. peeled, chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. melted margarine

Preparation

Cream together the shortening and 1 cup sugar. Add salt and vanilla
and
mix well.
Add eggs and beat well.
Combine flour, soda
and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately
with sour cream. Stir in apples.
Spoon batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
