Apple Cheese Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    6 c. toasted bread crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
    1/2 c. raisins
    2 c. sliced, peeled apple
    1/2 c. Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine soup, milk, brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors. Add butter, toast, almonds and raisins.
    Spoon 1/2 of soup mixture in bottom of 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with apples and remaining toast mixture.
    Cover; bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes, or until hot. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake 5 minutes more.
    Serve with whipped cream.
    Makes 6 servings.
