Turnip Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. rice vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. fennel seed
2 3/4 lb. turnips, peeled
2 medium carrots, peeled
1 small onion, cut in half
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
Using processor fitted with grating disk, grate turnips.
Transfer to bowl with dressing.
Grate carrots and onion.
Add to bowl with dressing and toss to coat.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cover and chill 30 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
