Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
3 Tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 c. grated cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped onion (optional)
Preparation

Pare potatoes and slice.
Cook in salted water until slightly tender.
Drain and arrange in buttered casserole.
Slice butter over potatoes.
Add milk to about 3/4-inch the depth of potatoes. Sprinkle with pepper.
Cover with thick layer of cheese.
If desired, add onion.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
