German Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. roast beef
    1 onion
    2 ribs celery
    1 sprig parsley
    3 Tbsp. catsup
    bay leaf and cloves (desired amount)
Preparation
    Slowly brown the roast on all sides.
    When roast is browned to suit, remove roast from pan and leave enough fat to make a gravy. Add ingredients, also the browned roast and cook slowly until roast is tender.
