Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
1 quart buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sugar
5 c. unsifted flour
1 c. shortening, oil, or butter
1 15 oz. box raisin bran flakes
Preparation

Mix and store in refrigerator. Let stand at least 2 days before using. Keeps up to 6 weeks. Bake in greased muffin pans at 400 for 15 minutes. Yields 6 dozen. These can be baked immediately after mixing if you desire.
