Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    1 c. lukewarm water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add sugar, salt, shortening and 1/2 cup water. Add yeast to other 1/2 cup of water.
    Add flour.
    When dough is stiff, turn out on floured board and knead until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise.
    Punch down.
    Let rise again.
    Roll out and cut and let rise in pan.
    Ready to bake for 1 hour.
