Hobo Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

corn-on-the-cob
cabbage, quartered
whole potatoes, peeled
large carrots
sliced onion
smoked turkey or pork
1 qt. water (cover corn)
salt and pepper
Preparation

Layer ingredients in order given in a large pot.
Simmer on low for 1 to 2 hours, according to amount you have in pot.
Do not overcook.
Do not let potatoes go to mush.
Meat will flavor the whole pot of vegetables.
When potatoes are tender, it is ready! Serve with cornbread.
Very convenient and very good!
