Ingredients

2 cooked pie shells
3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
5 or 6 eggs (room temperature)
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
Preparation

In heavy saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch.
Separate egg yolks from whites, putting yolks in mixture.
Add milk, small amount at a time, with egg and sugar until thin.
Then add rest of milk.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, so not to stick, until thick.
