Mama'S Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco shortening
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk (room temperature)
    5 eggs (room temperature)
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, blending with all other ingredients. Coat tube pan with shortening. Use a small amount of flour and cocoa to flour pan. Pour mixture into prepared tube pan and place in COLD oven. Turn oven on and let it heat to 325\u00b0. Cook for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
