Nut Butter Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, soft
    1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract or 2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 to 2 c. pecans, finely chopped
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add salt, extract, flour and nuts. Mix well.
    Chill dough until easy to handle.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until brown, 12 to 15 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    While cookies are warm, roll in powdered sugar.
    These keep well.
    Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
