Jewish Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites, beaten dry
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. walnuts, (about) chopped
Preparation
    Beat the sugar into the beaten dry egg whites.
    Add the vanilla and vinegar. Butter a square cake pan (8 x 8-inch).
    Line with wax paper.
    Put mixture into wax paper lined pan.
    Bake 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven. When cool, cut in half.
