Ken'S Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Anasazi or red beans, washed and soaked overnight
    1/4 c. garlic powder
    2 bunches green onions, cut up (use 1/2 tops)
    1 large onion, cut up
    1 lb. ham, trimmed and cut up, browned off
    1 lb. Jimmy Dean beef sausage, browned off
    1 can Ro-Tel
    1/2 to 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
    1 Tbsp. liquid Crystal pure cayenne pepper seasoning*
    3 cans double strength chicken broth
    1/4 c. garlic powder
    1/4 c. molasses
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cumin
Preparation
    *If you like it a little hotter, use 2 tablespoons liquid Crystal pure cayenne pepper or you can use 1/8 teaspoon of regular cayenne pepper.
