Flemish Beef In Beer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into 4 pieces
1 Tbsp. oleo
1 Tbsp. oil
2 onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. beef broth, diluted
potatoes and carrots, cut up
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tsp. dark brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. beer
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
Preparation

Sprinkle flour over meat and brown in butter or oil.
Add onion and garlic.
Cook until slightly browned.
Add beef broth and cook and stir to loosen bits in bottom of pan.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until meat and vegetables are tender or about 7 hours on low in crock-pot.
