Zeppola Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 c. water
Crisco shortening
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients, then add eggs and mix.
Add milk and mix.
Add water and mix.
Mixture should be a smooth consistency. Get a deep pot; add Crisco to make at least a half a pot of oil. Make oil very hot; drop a tablespoon of the mixture into the pot. Put enough tablespoons of the mixture that will fit in the pot to float comfortably.
When puffs are golden brown, they are done. You may turn puffs so each one gets brown on both sides.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
