Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    3/4 c. cooking oil
    4 c. self-rising flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add well beaten eggs and oil.
    Cream all well, then add flour, cream of tartar and vanilla.
    Roll in marble size balls.
    You can put dough in refrigerator to cool for easier rolling.
    Put on greased cookie sheet.
    Wet bottom of glass.
    Put a few spoons of sugar in a small bowl or saucer. Stamp glass in sugar, then flatten cookie with bottom of glass.
