Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large apples, to make 20 quarters
    1 can buttermilk biscuits
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. apple pie spice
Preparation
    Peel and quarter large apples (if small, use 1/2).
    Roll out biscuits
    thin
    and
    cut
    in
    halves (20 halves).
    Take 1/2 biscuit and wrap around each apple quarter.
    Place on greased 9 x 12-inch
    pan.
    Melt
    2 sticks butter and pour over dumplings. Mix together water, sugar, cinnamon and apple pie spice.
    Pour over dumplings.\tBake
    at
    375\u00b0\tfor
    1 hour.
    One can biscuits equal 20 dumplings.
    May halve recipe.
