Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 cubed beef round steaks (about 4 oz. each)
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. celery, chopped coarse
    1 c. onion, chopped coarse
    1 c. green bell pepper, chopped coarse
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Season both sides of steaks with garlic powder, pepper and salt.
    Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium high heat until butter is foamy.
    Add 4 steaks and cook about 2 minutes per side until browned.
    Remove to plate.
    Repeat with remaining butter and steaks.
    Add remaining ingredients to skillet.
    Bring to boil, stirring to scrape up browned bits in bottom.
    Add steaks along with any accumulated juices.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover and simmer 50 to 60 minutes until meat is tender.
