Chinese Jello Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 serving-size) pkg. sugar free Jell-O brand orange flavor gelatin
3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
ice cubes
1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. shredded carrot
1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. drained canned bean sprouts
1/4 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 Tbsp. sliced scallions
Preparation

Completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin; add soy sauce and lemon juice. Stir until ice is melted and gelatin is slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Add remaining ingredients and spoon into individual dishes or a bowl. Chill until set, at least 30 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups or 5 servings. Contains 25 calories per serving.
