Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 stick oleo
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 c. diced carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 qt. chicken stock
    1 qt. milk
    1/8 tsp. soda
    2 c. cheese (Velveeta)
    2 Tbsp. parsley
Preparation
    Melt
    oleo in soup pot.
    Add onion, carrots and celery. Saute until
    soft.
    Add
    flour
    and
    cornstarch.\tCook
    until bubbly. Add broth and milk and make a smooth sauce.
    Add soda and cheese. Garnish with parsley before serving.
