Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c. cashew nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; mix thoroughly.
Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together alternately with sour cream.
Blend well.
Fold in nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Cool and top with golden butter glaze.
