Williamsburg Salad(Serves 12) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 envelopes Knox gelatine
1/2 c. cold water
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 drops green cake coloring
1 c. pecan meats, broken
1 c. sweet India relish (or diced sweet pickles)
1 can crushed drained pineapple (small)
1 c. stuffed olives, broken pieces
Preparation

Soften gelatine in cold water.
Add sugar, pineapple juice, vinegar, salt and green coloring.
Chill until slightly thickened, then add pecan meats, India relish, pineapple and olives.
Pour into molds or a flat serving dish which has been rubbed with oil. Chill until firm and serve.
