Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening
4 Tbsp. cream
1 c. milk
6 level Tbsp. flour
1 egg yolk
baked 9-inch pie pastry
Preparation

In skillet, cook until brown the brown sugar, shortening and cream.
Add milk, flour and egg yolk.
Continue cooking until thickened.
Pour into pie pastry and cool.
