Coconut Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) c. sour cream
    2 c. sugar
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    While cake layers are baking, put into mixing bowl the sour cream, sugar and coconut.
    Heat in a saucepan 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar.
    To this, add one of the packages of coconut.
    Bring to a boil.
    When cake is cool, spread milk and coconut between the layers.
    Let the layers set before placing coconut and sour cream between the layers.
    Keep refrigerated.
