German Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs together.
    Mix at least 20 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
    Blend in flour and baking powder.
    Slightly warm milk and
    vanilla.
    Pour in and mix well. Bake in greased tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
