Oatmeal-Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. rolled oats
    1 pkg. (1 c.) raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease cookie sheets.
    Combine butter, sugars, egg and vanilla; beat until well blended.
    Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
    Add to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and raisins.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake in upper third of oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets; cool on wire racks.
    Makes 3 dozen.
