Ingredients

2 c. milk
3 beaten eggs
1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
dash of nutmeg
salt and freshly ground white pepper
2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
1 (6 oz.) can shredded crabmeat, shell and cartilage removed
28 tartlet shells (see following recipe)
Preparation

Scald milk.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Stir in eggs, cheese and seasoning.
Divide mixture between two bowls.
Add bacon to one mixture, crabmeat to the other.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Arrange tartlet shells on greased baking sheet.
Fill 14 shells with bacon mixture and 14 with crabmeat mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes 28 appetizers.
