Buttermilk Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box apricot Jell-O
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 (12 oz.) tub Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bring the can of pineapple to a boil and add box of Jell-O; mix well.
    Let cook and add 1 cup buttermilk and mandarin oranges with juice; mix well.
    Fold in Cool Whip; put in covered dish and let set overnight in refrigerator.
    You may add nuts and/or miniature marshmallows.
