Winter Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. white beans, soaked in hot water for 1 hour
    6 c. water
    4 stalks chopped celery
    8 oz. Canadian bacon
    5 garlic cloves
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. pasta, cooked
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except pasta.
    Simmer for 2 hours. Add pasta until heated through.
    Serve hot with cornbread and salad.
