Grandma Merritt'S Famous Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
7 eggs
1 tsp. lemon and vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream butter.
Add sugar.
Mix well.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat well.
Add milk.
Slowly add flour*.
When mixed well, add flavorings.
(*With salt and baking powder.)
