Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    3 c. boiling water
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 egg
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    butter (size of a walnut)
    pie crust for 2-crust pie
Preparation
    Combine 2 cups raisins, 3 cups boiling water and 2/3 cup sugar and boil 10 minutes.
    Add cornstarch, mixed in a little water, 1 egg, nutmeg and butter.
    Cook until mixture thickens.
    Put into unbaked pie shell and add top crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 400\u00b0 and continue baking until crust is brown.
