7-Up Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. oleo or butter
    5 eggs
    10 oz. 7-Up
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond or lemon extract
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, cream the shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add the flour, alternating with the 7-Up.
    Add the flavorings and bake in a greased tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
