Ingredients

6 potatoes
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 small box corn flake crumbs
applesauce
cooking oil
Preparation

Pour oil 3/4 inch in deep frying pan.
Grate potatoes in wooden bowl.
Add salt, pepper, egg and cinnamon.
Mix all ingredients, except corn flakes and applesauce.
Add corn flake crumbs, a little at a time, until slightly firm.
Make sure oil is good and hot.
Spoon batter in oil.
Keep turning until golden brown.
Serve with applesauce and sprinkle with sugar.
