Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 no roll pie pastry
Preparation

Pare apples, cut in eighths and arrange in a 9-inch pastry-lined pie pan.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon.
Sift remaining 1/2 cup sugar with flour.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake in hot oven (450\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
Then in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for about 40 minutes, until apples are tender.
