Georgia'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 whole eggs
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 1/2 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter, eggs and other ingredients.
    Chill well before rolling out; cut with cookie cutter.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake in an oven that has been preheated to 450\u00b0. Let the cookies stay in the 450\u00b0 oven for about 1 minute, then turn oven to 375\u00b0 and bake for 7 to 8 minutes.
