Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. blueberries, lightly floured
Preparation

Sift together baking powder, flour and salt.
Beat 2 egg whites until mounds form.
Set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add 2 egg yolks.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with 1/3 cup milk.
Fold in egg whites; add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Add blueberries.
Bake in greased small tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
Sprinkle top with granulated sugar.
This cake is light and moist.
