Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    While mixing eggs, sugar, salt, baking powder and flour together, heat milk and butter until near boiling point.
    Add heated milk to mixture; beat for 2 minutes.
    Add vanilla last. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 28 minutes or until cake leaves the side of pan.
    Will make 2 layer (9-inch) or sheet cake.
    Use 7-Minute Frosting or fudge icing on this cake.
