Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs until light. Add mashed bananas and add lemon juice. Blend with creamed mixture. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Mix into banana mixture. Add nuts. Bake in greased loaf pan at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
