Mom Hornke'S Czeck Plum Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 cake yeast (dry yeast may be used)
    2 c. flour
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 lb. sweet butter
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon rind
Preparation
    Combine milk and 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
    Heat to lukewarm. Crumble in yeast and let rise.
    With fingers, crumble butter into sifted flour.
    Add sugar/milk/yeast mixture, salt, slightly beaten egg yolks and lemon rind.
    Mix well until dough is medium stiff. Divide into 2 parts and refrigerate or freeze one-half for another time.
